I am predicting many colleges of pharmacy will achieve a 100% residency match rate in four years as the pharmacy school enrollment decreases by about 500 students a year for the next three years including this one and then a cliff drop of 1800 in one year significantly impacting the number of residency applications. It's still tough to get certain residencies, but those just wanting a residency will find the process much easier.
